In Morocco, only about fifteen per cent of children go to school. They do not usually go beyond grade six. There are no teachers to help the deaf and little sign language can be taught. Moroccan Sign Language is made by gestures and shown through avenues such as videos. There are not many resources available in Moroccan Sign Language for the deaf here.
Teachers and parents are now being taught to use software to help the children. A dictionary is being used to help with graphics and videos for signs and definitions.
Deaf people from different cities in Morocco are contacting each other now. Fifteen to forty year olds have the best knowledge of Sign Language in Morocco and contact each other on the internet including in chat rooms too in their country and in other countries too.
