Introduction / History

The Chik of India live in Bihar. They speak Urdu and can speak Hindi and read and write in Devanagari.

What Are Their Lives Like?

Slaughtering goats and sheep is their main work. They also do other work such as agriculture. Some of them own land. The Chik can have four wives at a time. They can remarry. Unlike most Hindus they bury the dead.

Prayer Points

Pray that God will give the Chik dreams and visions leading them to Jesus Christ. Pray for workers to go to them to help them begin a disciple making movement this decade. Pray for spiritual hunger.

Scripture Prayers for the Chik (Hindu traditions) in India.
