Little is known about this indigenous unreached people group.
Tarafdar people only live in Bangladesh.
Nothing is known of their lifestyle, nor of their occupations.
Assumptions may be made based on the fact that they are 100 percent Muslim. They would take part in Muslim festivals, their women would be subservient and cloistered, they worship Allah, not the true Jehovah God. They would observe dietary laws of Islam. Males would inherit, and the oldest living son would lead the family upon the death of the father.
Although written, audio, and visual Bible resources exist in the Bengali language, Tarafdar people remain unengaged and unreached.
Their most important need is to know Almighty God personally, and to receive His provision for the penalty of all their sins when He gave His life in their place, doing for them what they could never do for themselves.
They need to know that they are faithfully and fearfully worshiping the wrong god.
Pray for Jesus movements to bless extended families so the gospel will spread rapidly among this people group.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to give the Tarafdar people teachable and understanding hearts.
Pray for a strong movement of the Holy Spirit to bring entire Tarafdar families into a rich experience of God's blessing.
Pray for Tarafdar families to be drawn by the Holy Spirit to seek forgiveness, and to understand the adequacy of Christ's work on the cross.
