Sentinelese people are also called Sentenelese, Sentineli, Senteneli and North Sentinal Islanders.
They live in the North Sentinel island of the Andaman and Nicobar islands, and they are completely isolated from the rest of the world.
The Sentinelese hunt, gather, and fish. They eat coconuts, wild honey, nuts fruit, and raw animal meat. There appears to be no agriculture among them. Their houses are large, having no side walls or decorative materials. They wear little clothing. During hunting they wear leaves and belts as protection, and they use javelins and flat bows and arrows as weapons. Music, dancing, and celebrations are known to be part of their culture.
They speak Sentinelese, but little is known of the language. It is different than other languages in the Andaman islands. Their language is unwritten. There are no scripture resources in their language.
Indian authorities tried to make peaceful contact with Sentinelese people, but they were hostile to them, and responded with arrows and stones. The Indian government now leaves them alone and entering the North Sentinel island is not allowed.
Nothing is known of Sentinelese beliefs.
Sentinelese people need to know that the Creator God exists, and that He loves them and paid the price for their sins.
They need basic medical care.
