The Dzakhchins are one of the smaller Mongol tribes in Mongolia. Like the Mongol majority, they speak Halh.
The artwork of the Dzakhchin people, their great poetic talents, their epic works, and the lyric poetry are outstanding. Singers and poets used to walk from camp to camp, singing their songs and epics, reflecting the expression of freedom and the immensity of the Mongolian steppes.
The religion of the early residents of the Mongolian region recognized only one uniform godly power, localized in the celestial vault. They also worshiped certain natural phenomena and believed in a life after death in the form of spirits (demons). Officially the Dzakhchin are Buddhists. In the case of the Tibetan form of Buddhism, shamanism is a key element. The Dzakhchin people involve shamans in their religious rituals which often involve the use of animal bones.
The Dzakhchin people need to submit to Jesus Christ so they can experience the abundant life he offers in John 10:10.
The Lord is building his church in Mongolia. Pray for Dzakshin believers to be well instructed in the faith, resting fully on Christ and his finished work on the cross. Pray the Dzakhchin people won't be overlooked as workers take the gospel throughout Mongolia. Pray for an unstoppable movement to Christ among the Dzakshin people. Pray that the Dzakhchin people will have a spiritual hunger that will open their hearts to the King of kings. Pray for more workers to go to Mongolia's nomadic peoples.
