Kinaray-A speakers live primarily in coastal communities as the majority of speakers live along the west coast of Panay Island in Antique.

There is a strong Christian presence among Kinaray-A speakers through Catholic and Evangelical efforts. They ere on the side of legalism demonstrating a need for the complete Bible in their own language.

The Kinaray-A need community development and education. They need schools, hospitals and banks. Fishermen need to find another line of work; there are far less fish to catch. They also need assistance in relocating families and homes due to continuing nat
