Summary
The Hindu Dahur trace their roots to ancient times in the Sindh region of Pakistan, although some reside across the border in India's state of Gujarat. They have lived in Sindh for centuries, maintaining their distinct cultural and religious identity despite the challenges posed by political and social changes over time. Their history is interwoven with the broader history of Sindh, marked by resilience and adaptation. The Hindu Dahur engage in agriculture and small-scale trade. They live in close-knit communities, often sharing resources and supporting one another in daily activities. Dahurs maintain strong family bonds and uphold traditional customs and practices. Despite economic challenges, they strive to provide for their families and ensure their children receive basic education.
Ministry Obstacles
Their understanding is that the various Hindu gods can help them with specific needs. They do not have a loving Heavenly Father who will take care of their needs according to his riches and glory.
But Peter and John answered them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.
Acts 4:19-20
