Staff Opportunities: Director of Technology
Position Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining all technology related matters with Joshua Project, including IT strategies, policies, systems, security, infrastructure, website/app development, AI usage.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and systems to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Manage and develop IT staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot server, workstations, network and backup systems.
- Manage of Joshua Project Microsoft tenancy-MS 365, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint.
- Maintain and enhance Joshua Project websites.
- Identify and eliminate security risks, and facilitating IT security audits or investigations.
- Manage web domain registrations, hosting and security.
- Evaluate and purchase hardware and software.
- Prepare in-house data for web presentation, refresh website data from master database.
- Work with communications and design team to create maps and graphics for websites.
- Monitor Google Analytics for web usage and statistics to maximize web presence.
- Develop and implement plan to move Joshua Project infrastructure to Cloud base server.
- Evaluate and interface with outside consultants for mobile app and web development as needed.
- Building and maintaining relationships with outside vendors.
- Evaluate potential web development companies for redesign of all Joshua Project websites.
- Interfacing with IT staff of other ministries in the same office building as Joshua Project.
- Oversee web development volunteers, interns, Hack-A-thons, special projects.
