Research Associate
Position Summary:
The Research Associate plays a strategic role in advancing the global mission movement by maintaining and updating one of the most widely used databases of unreached and frontier people groups. This position combines research, data analysis, and global correspondence to help track gospel access and Christian witness among the world’s largest Frontier and Unreached People Groups. The Associate’s work directly informs how the Body of Christ prays, sends, and serves—making it a vital behind-the-scenes contribution to frontline mission impact.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure global people group profiles reflect up-to-date realities by integrating local updates, surveys, and new research.
- Track and incorporate updates from censuses, ethnographic studies, ministry surveys, and partner reports.
- Participate in research projects aligned with organizational priorities and strategic global gaps.
- Correspond with global ministry leaders and researchers to improve data accuracy.
- Develop custom visualizations (charts, maps, tables) for presentations, reports, and dashboards.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that help the global Church prioritize prayer and outreach to the least-reached.
