Staff Opportunities: Prayer Mobilizer
Position Summary:
Assist Director of Prayer Mobilization in researching and producing the content for Joshua Project people group profiles and Unreached of the Day publications. Catalyze ways for more people to pray for unreached people groups. This role would need to be filled by a volunteer or by raising personal financial support.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of writers to research and produce the daily unreached peoples content for the Unreached of the Day and other Joshua Project people group profiles.
- Assist with design and production of Unreached of the Day print materials for Mission Frontiers and Unreached of the Day website.
- Review existing text of people group profiles. Rewrite as necessary.
- Assist with soliciting input from intercessory prayer networks regarding strategic times to focus on particular blocs of people groups.
- Integrate organizational vision, mission, values and tone into people group profiles and Unreached of the Day materials.
- Develop ways to mobilize more prayer for unreached people groups, through new and existing content and mechanisms.
- Network with other global missions prayer ministries and find points of collaboration.
- Provide monthly reports to supervisor on work activity and progress toward goals.
