Staff Opportunities: Director of People Group Adoption
Position Summary:
Mobilize individuals and churches toward adoption of people groups. Register and track adoption registrations. Provide ongoing resources and encouragement toward maintaining and growing adoption vision and efforts. This role would need to be filled by a volunteer or by raising personal financial support.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Network with individuals, churches and organizations to encourage adoptions.
- Create educational and motivational resources.
- Update and rework the 1990s “Adoption Guidance Program”.
- Work with the Director of Communications to promote people group adoptions via social media, newsletters and other channels. .
- Develop an adoption tracking system.
- Register adoptions with pertinent details.
- Ensure that privacy and security is maintained in conversation and information exchange.
- Connect adopting individuals and organizations for collaboration.
- Network with other adoption initiatives and find points of collaboration.
- Provide monthly reports to supervisor on work activity and progress toward goals.
- Maintain required levels of ministry support through regular time in ministry partnership development (if applicable).
