Dhiman Brahmin in India
Dhiman are unlike any other Brahmin community. They have always been focused on architecture and building instead of priestly duties. According to their traditions, they are the descendants of the five sons of their god, Lord Vishwakarma. These sons represent blacksmiths, carpenters, metal craftsmen, stone cutters, and goldsmiths. Vishwakarma is the personification of all creative power, and the revealer of knowledge having to do with the science of mechanics and architecture. They are often called Vishwabrahmins, in reference to their god.
Ministry Obstacles
There is a deep aversion to religious propaganda among Dhiman Brahmins, and Christians are often seen as propagandists. Christianity is seen as problematic for Brahmins. Christ's ambassadors need to approach Brahmins in a loving, respectful manner.
