The Chauhan Rajputs ruled some parts of northern India in the 1100s. Today they are village watchmen and laborers. This is a subgroup of the Rajputs that have some unusual customs. Most of their names come from the names of plants and animals. When they face problems, the Chauhan Rajputs make an object out of flour and worship it. They offer goats for sacrifice when they make a vow to the Hindu goddess Durga.

Ministry Obstacles

There have not been any movements to Christ among any Rajput subgroup. They are among the least reached groups in all of India.

Outreach Ideas

People need to pray faithfully for a spiritual breakthrough among Rajput subgroups before anyone can go to them.

Pray for the Followers of Christ

Pray for the Holy Spirit to show Himself powerful in Rajput communities so that they will see the difference Christ makes in a family.

Pray for the Entire People Group

Pray for workers to go to the Chauhan Rajputs, and for their hearts to be ready to receive their Savior.
Pray for families of believers loving and serving others to grow reproducing churches.
Pray for a chain reaction of families reaching families that results in thousands of new believers who share their faith with others.
