Introduction

In Arabic, Mallik means lord. The Malik or Mallik of India are Sunni Muslims converted from Hinduism. Their main work is agriculture. As well as cultivation, some are in business and some work for the government. They are well educated. They speak, read and write in Gujarati.

Ministry Obstacles

Islam is a major obstacle to the gospel, because Muslims are taught at an early age that the Koran is accurate, and the Bible is not.

Outreach Ideas

Muslims need to experience the mercy, compassion and love of the Lord through believers before they will give Him a chance to transform their communities. There are at least three areas in India where Mallik people are concentrated. Believers in those places can reach out to them with the love of the Lord.

Pray for the Followers of Christ

There are no known followers of Christ in this Muslim community, so pray for the Lord to reveal Himself to Mallik religious and family leaders.

Pray for the Entire People Group

* Pray for spiritual hunger that will lead Malik leaders to find Jesus Christ.
* Pray for a movement in which the Holy Spirit leads and empowers disciples to make more disciples.
