Introduction

The Kandu live in India, Nepal and Bangladesh. There are no known Christian churches among them. Very few, if any, Kandu believers live in Nepal. Indeed, there are few Christians who live anywhere near them.

Ministry Obstacles

The Kandu of Nepal and the larger population of Kandu who live in northwest India are considered unreached. They are almost all Hindus and have been so for hundreds of years. If Christian workers came to live among them, they would be considered outsiders and foreigners. It would take time to gain their trust.
