Introduction / History

The origin of the Kunda people is unclear. Most information comes from legends and folk tales. But they did migrate south after the fall of the Luba and Lunda kingdoms. Westerners didn’t know about them till the 1800s.

Today the Kunda people live in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. They are much less reached with the gospel in Mozambique than they are in the other two countries.
