The Eshira, also called, Chira, live in Gabon, a tiny West African nation. Their language is Sira.

They moved to their current location after losing a war with the Bakeles and other tribes. They settled and took slaves which they sold to others. Some grew tobacco and Raphia cloth. Smallpox decimated them from 1865 till the end of the 1800s.

The Eshiras live in the grasslands and forests. They probably have livestock and grow crops.
