The Bolano are a small people group on the north peninsula of Sulawesi Island. They are part of the Kaili-Tomini of Sulawesi people cluster within the Malay Peoples affinity bloc. They speak Boano, a language only spoken by the Bolano.
We know very little about the Bolano lifestyle. However, the peoples around them are agrarian, so we can probably surmise they are as well.
The Bolano practice Sunni Islam, likely mixed with some animistic beliefs and practices.
No Christian resources are available in the Boano language.
Prayer Items
Pray for a translation of the New Testament into Boano.
Ask God to send gospel workers to the Bolano and to direct them to people who are open to the truth.
Ask God to create a movement of multiplying disciples and churches among the Bintauna.
