The Bekati Land Dayak is a people group that lives in northwestern Kalimantan in Indonesia.
The Bekati Land Dyaks often grow rice on hillsides. Fishing and hunting supplement their diets, but farming is their main activity.
Though there is some Christian influence among them, the Land Dyaks mainly adhere to traditional ethnic religion.
The Bekati Land Dayak people are in danger of outsiders taking their land and destroying the environment. Their homeland can be a target for Indonesia’s Transmigrant policies which bring Javanese people to less populated places like Kalimantan.
Pray for the Lord to bless them, and for them to respond with thankfulness and worship.
Pray for the Lord to thrust out workers to disciple the Bekati Land Dyaks.
Pray for a hunger for truth and righteous spirituality among them.
